The formation of Lebanon’s government has stalled following a dispute over the draft cabinet lineup submitted by Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam to the President of the Republic.
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri rejected Salam’s proposal regarding the Shiite community’s share, particularly over the choice of the fifth ministerial nominee.
